Trade Secrets
This is where I’ll be explaining some of the fascinating facts about the ingredients we choose when creating our healing and mood-lifting skincare range:
Lemon used in our Lemon and Olive Oil Hand Cream
Lemons are an extremely versatile ingredient and they’re very rich in Vitamin C and many other valuable nutrients.
They’re widely used in natural beauty preparations and can be used as cleansers and toners, which are particularly good for oily skin. We’ve added Lemon into our new Lemon & Olive Oil Hand Cream because that is the starting point for a new range of Lemon & Olive Oil products. These include Creamy Lemon & Organic Nettle soap and Lemon and Chamomile Shampoo bar as well as the Olive Oil & lemon hand cream.
I love the fact that lemons can be used for so many skin and healing benefits, they are truly a natural health super-fruit. The clean aroma helps to uplift your spirit and calm nerves, whilst at the same time making you feel energetic and uplifted

Calendula used in our Soothing Facial Moisturiser
Calendula is a well-known garden plant and is probably one of the most useful of all herbs. It has valuable medicinal properties, yields a yellow colour and can be used as a culinary herb and for cosmetic purposes. It has been used in the Mediterranean region since the ancient Greeks, and it was known to Indian and Arabic cultures before the Greeks.
I love its skin soothing and restorative properties, which help soften and heal blemishes and marks. It’s also a great cleanser, general antiseptic and anti-inflammatory.
After washing my face with Extra Sensitive soap, with calendula petals, I apply Calendula and Aloe Vera Moisturiser I love this facial moisturiser because of its light texture and non greasy feel. It gives my skin a matte feel an ideal base for applying my makeup foundation.
